If you are interested in how your office or business can reduce waste, you can set up a free waste assessment evaluation. A representative from the Town of Truckee will come to your establishment and develop a plan that works best for you, your space, and those you work with.

The town’s assistance may include:

• Conducting a waste assessment and make recommendations on opportunities to reduce waste and recycle.
• Providing free containers and/or blue bags as funds permit.
• Assisting the business with establishing new services with Tahoe Truckee Sierra Disposal (i.e., paper collection) requesting a cardboard only dumpster.
• Provide education on how to participate within programs to staff.
