Irrigation tubing can get tangled up in sorting equipment at recycling facilities, damaging the machinery and creating safety hazards for workers. Never put irrigation tubing in the recycling.
Take Large Amounts to Landfill
If your tubing does not fit in your garbage bin, take it to the landfill for disposal. To be disposed of curbside, tubing and other garbage must fit inside of your bin.

Commercial agricultural growers and dealers in California can participate in the Netafim ReGen™ Recycling Program for irrigation tubing. The minimum amount to schedule a pickup is 20,000 pounds.
